Note: For children under the age of 6 there are 3 components to a private ASD assessment:
-
The Psychological assessment
-
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) assessment
-
A Paediatrician assessment.

All three parties must agree on the diagnosis in order to obtain an ASD diagnosis. We can complete the psychological component of the assessment and, for those interested, refer families to our contracted SLP for the speech-language assessment component.

*Have you been referred to a pediatrician to query autism? If not, you will need to ask your family doctor to refer you to a paediatrician.
