When to tell your child they have ASD?

Developed and Presented by Dr Suzanne Jacobsen

Parents are often unsure when or if to tell their child they have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

This introductory workshop presents three considerations:

Why you tell your child

When you tell your child

What you tell your child

After watching the recording, you should have an understanding of the importance of including your child in understanding the diagnosis of ASD and have direction about the appropriate time and way to begin the discussion.
