With a focus on fostering meaningful interactions and encouraging personal growth, participants can practice various social skills at their own pace.

In addition to social skills, there's also the opportunity to develop executive functioning skills through planning activities and exploring the community. For those with specific goals in mind, our team is here to help tailor the experience to meet individual needs. Join us to connect, grow, and have fun in a space that's all about you!
SESSION ACTIVITIES: We play boardgames, do creative projects, and sometimes just hang out and talk. Social Savvy
Program Desciption
The Social Savvy Group for Teens, inspired by PEERS, is a 12-week program where teens can learn, discuss, and practice using important social skills to form and maintain healthy relationships, safely navigate the digital world, and build upon their self-advocating skills. This group is for middle and high school teenagers who are motivated to make new connections and maintain current ones. This program runs in a weekly, small-group setting, using techniques such as modeling, role playing, and natural environment teaching.

Parent participation is a vital component of the PEERS model. There is a weekly parent group, run by a trained facilitator, in which caregivers learn to be effective social coaches for their child.
Additionally, parents will help their child complete weekly assignments (e.g. phoning a friend, hosting a get-together, etc).
